STORY LINE:
This is a short instructional video for the NYS Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence to illustrate how “appearance enhancement professionals” – hair stylists, estheticians, massage therapists, nail salon staff, for example, can broach the subject of domestic violence with a client if they notice signs of abuse.

She notices signs of abuse and initiates a conversation to encourage Nina to get help. Shoots 9/23 in Albany, NY (mandatory self-report). Female, 40+ yrs, ethnically ambiguous. Nina reluctantly opens up to Yolanda, her long time hair stylist, about her abusive relationship when suspicious bruises on her neck are revealed. Shoots 9/23 in Albany, NY (mandatory self-report). ONLY SEASONED ACTORS WITH STRONG MEMORIZATION SKILLS NEED APPLY.
